Land taken for Defence Purposes in the City of Wellington, subject to the Right to lay Pipes.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes subject to the right to lay pipes created by memorandum of transfer registered in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 209998; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 25·74 perches. Being Lot 3, D.P. 9392, being part Section 11, Ohiru District.
Situated in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20612.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108717, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1940.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Defence Purposes in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 100 of the twenty-sixth day of the same month, at page 2393, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2989, taking land for defence purposes in the City of Wellington, as affects the area of 25·74 perches described in the Schedule thereto as being Lot 3 on D.P. 9392, being part Section 11, Ohiru District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1940.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation setting apart Portion of a Public Reserve for the Development of Water-power (Arapuni Scheme, Hamilton No. 2 Substation-site) in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 54 of the twenty-eighth day of the same month, at page 2527, setting apart portion of a public reserve for the development of water-power (Arapuni Scheme, Hamilton No. 2 Substation-site) in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 2 roods 31·65 perches.
Being portion of the land in Proclamation 6745.
Situated in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30836.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108061, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
