SCALE SHOWING RATES OF ANNUAL SALARIES AND INCREMENTS OF SALARIES FOR OFFICERS IN THE PROFESSIONAL AND CLERICAL DIVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE.

SCHEDULE OF LODGING-ALLOWANCES.

PROFESSIONAL AND CLERICAL DIVISIONS.

MINIMUM SALARY FOR EMPLOYEES OF ADULT AGE.

The amounts in excess of scale salary necessary to bring remuneration up to the rates mentioned are granted by way of allowances.

MALE EMPLOYEES.

The following minimum rates of pay have been approved :—

(a) £155 per annum at twenty-one years of age, irrespective of service.

(b) £165 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of one year’s permanent service.

(c) £175 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of two years’ permanent service.

(d) £185 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of three years’ permanent service.

(e) £195 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of four years’ permanent service.

(f) £205 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of five years’ permanent service.

(g) £230 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of six years’ permanent service.

(h) £240 per annum at the age of twenty-one years or over, on completion of seven years’ permanent service increasing to £245 per annum after one year at the rate of £240 per annum.
