to be a representative of the New Zealand Government on
the New Zealand Poultry Board established under the said

Appointment of Customs Examining-places at Wellington.

I, WALTER NASH, Minister of Customs, in exercise of
the powers vested in me for this purpose by the
Customs Act, 1913, do by this Warrant appoint the under-
mentioned buildings to be places for the examination by the
Customs of goods subject to the control of the Customs :—

  1. The Inwards Railway Goods-shed, Waterloo Quay,
    Wellington.

  2. The Inwards Parcels Office, Railway-station, Waterloo
    Quay, Wellington.

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice Fixing
Prices of Certain Grades.

Office of Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 29th October, 1940.

PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing
Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices
per bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for
lemons of fancy grade and commercial grade respectively
delivered to the Department during the undermentioned
period.

The prices are fixed on an average basic price of 7s. for
sufficient fruit when cured will pack a bushel case.

Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st November
to 15th November, 1940 :—

Loose packed fresh lemons, Fancy Grade . . 5 0
Loose packed fresh lemons, Commercial Grade . . 4 4

Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations
1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being
satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the
area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that
such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing
of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined
as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for
the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out
in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice
shall take effect on the 7th day of November, 1940.

SCHEDULE.

CENTRAL TABANAKI BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
ALL that area of land in the Taranaki Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point where Mountain Road
crosses the Kahouri Stream; thence up-stream along the
Kahouri Stream to the north-eastern corner of Section 51,
Block XIII, Huiroa Survey District; thence southerly
generally along the eastern boundary of Section 51, Block
XIII, Huiroa Survey District, and Section 52, Block I,
Ngairo Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of
Section 52 aforesaid; thence along the southern boundary
of the said Section 52 to the point where it meets
the Cardiff Road; thence southerly along the Cardiff Road
to the south-eastern corner of Section 38, Block IV, Kaupo-
koni Survey District; thence westerly along the southern
boundary of Section 38, Block IV aforesaid, to the south-
western corner of that section; thence northerly along
Derby Road to the point where it meets the boundary
between Block IV, Kaupokonui Survey District, and Block
XVI, Egmont Survey District; thence westerly along that
boundary to the point where it crosses the Egmont Forest
Reserve boundary; thence following the boundary of the
reserve in a southerly direction to the point where it crosses
the Waingongoro Stream; thence following the Waingongoro
Stream down-stream to the north-eastern corner of Section 4,
