behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising in New Zealand
by the said local authority of the said loan up to the amount
of four thousand pounds (£4,000), and in giving such consent
doth hereby determine as follows :—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof
may be raised shall not exceed seven (7) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the
said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not
produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding four pounds
(£4) per centum per annum.
(3) The said local authority shall, before raising the said
loan or any part thereof, make provision for the repayment
thereof by establishing a sinking fund under the Local
Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, or under such other statutory
enactment as may be applicable, and shall thereafter make
payments to such sinking fund at intervals of not more than
one year at a rate or rates per centum which shall be not
less than twelve pounds seventeen shillings (£12 17s.), such
payments to be made in respect of every part of the said
loan for the time being so borrowed and not repaid, the
first such payment to be made not later than one year after
the first day from which interest to the lender or lenders is
computed on the said loan or any part thereof so raised.
(4) The payment of interest and the repayment of principal
in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand.
(5) No amount payable as either interest or sinking fund
in respect of the said loan shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(6) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and
procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or
any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half
per centum of any amount raised.
(7) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after
the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kelso Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
October, 1940.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Wallace Crawford,
William Bryce Somerville,
John Osbaldeston Kitching,
Alexander Officer Wilson, and
Edward William Duff
to be the Kelso Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint
Saturday, the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and forty, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Public Hall, Kelso, as the place where, the
first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Vesting a Reserve in the Rawene Town Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of
September, 1940.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as a reserve for municipal
purposes : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-
General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the
Rawene Town Board :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the
Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Rawene Town
Board, in trust, for municipal purposes.

Vesting a Reserve in the Akaroa County Council.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
October, 1940.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has
been duly set apart as a reserve for cemetery pur-
poses : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General,
it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akaroa :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and
after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the
Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Coun-
cillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akaroa, in trust,
for cemetery purposes.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Site for an Aerodrome
in the Taupo Road Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
October, 1940.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for an
aerodrome : And whereas it is expedient that the control of
the said reserve should be vested in the Taupo Road Board :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control
of the said reserve in the Taupo Road Board, subject to the
conditions hereinafter contained—that is to say :—
(1) No stock other than sheep shall be grazed on the
reserve.
(2) The aerodrome shall be duly licensed and kept licensed,
by and at the expense of the said Road Board, in accordance
with the regulations under the Air Navigation Act, 1931.
(3) All the provisions of the regulations under the Air
Navigation Act, 1931, applicable to the aerodrome shall be
complied with.
