Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Ohakune Village Settlement, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1940.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Borough of Ohakune, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section 7, Ohakune Village Settlement, Block V, Karioi Survey District: Bounded towards the north-east by Lots 2 and 4 on D.P. 7512, 810-53 links; towards the south-east by Miro Street, 623-64 links; towards the south-west by part of Section 6, Ohakune Village Settlement, 785-39 links; towards the north-west by Mangawhero Terrace, 190-59 links; towards the north-east, north-west, and south-west by other part of the said Section 7, Ohakune Village Settlement, distance 270-92 links bearing 131° 44′ 15″; distance 181-89 links bearing 41° 44′ 15″; distance 276-99 links bearing 311° 44′ 15″; and again towards the north-west by Mangawhero Terrace 251-57 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 1913/1684A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Christchurch City Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of December, 1939.
Present:
THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Rangitikei County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of December, 1939.

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is part of a reserve for a site for roadman’s whare, and is vested in the Rangitikei County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Rangitikei County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Rangitikei County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

All that area containing by admeasurement 38-5 perches, more or less, being part of Section 27, Block VI, Hautapu Survey District: Bounded towards the north and east by public roads 158-3 and 158-3 links, and towards the south and west by part of Lot 2 of Section 26, Block VI, Hautapu Survey District, 157-9 and 146-9 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 26/285A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Walter Norman Brewer,
James Alexander McDonell,
Robert Daniel Davis,
Francis Albert Dunstall, and
Martin Patrick Wilkin
to be the Ashhurst Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Library, Ashhurst, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
