Declaring Territorial Air Force to be liable for Continuous Service.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS an occasion of imminent national danger now exists
within the meaning of section seven of the Air Force Act, 1937 :
And whereas a Proclamation under section six of the said Act has been
issued :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by the said section seven, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that all officers and airmen of the Territorial Air Force are liable
for continuous service within New Zealand during the continuance of the
said occasion of imminent national danger.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion,
this 1st day of September, 1939.
