AO-TEA-ROA GOLD PROSPECTING COMPANY, LIMITED.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the Ao-tea-roa Gold Prospecting Company, Limited.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Ao-tea-roa Gold Prospecting Company, Limited., will be held on the 28th day of February, 1939, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed, and, that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the office of P. C. Browne, Public Accountant, 213 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 28th day of February, 1939, at 8 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of Overseas Advertisers, Limited, will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at 11 a.m. on Monday, the 13th February, 1939, at the top floor, Horne’s Building, Vulcan Lane, Auckland, to receive a statement of the company’s affairs, a list of the creditors and the amount of their claims, at which meeting the creditors may nominate a liquidator and appoint a committee of inspection.

Under the Public Works Act, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hutt require to take the land described hereunder:—

In Wellington Land District—Part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 1879, and being part Section Nine (9) Block two (II), Paekakariki Survey District, situate at the corner of Beach Road and the Parade, Township of Paekakariki, and containing 2·28 perches.

This land is required for the purposes of a public work—namely, a public road. Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said land is open for inspection at the offices of Messrs. Brandon, Ward, Hislop, and Powles, Solicitors, Brandon House, Featherston Street, Wellington.

All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, whose office is situated in Bowen House, Bowen Street, in the City of Wellington.

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that West J. Moreland, of Hamilton, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator to the company.”

THE following special resolution executed by means of an entry in its minute-book signed by every member of the company, together holding the whole share capital of the company, was passed and signed by virtue of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, under date the 6th day of February, 1939.

“Resolved as a special resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
