AUCKLAND EDUCATION BOARD.
NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land, namely, all that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing two (2) roods twelve (12) perches nine (9) poles, more or less, being part of Allotment 21 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland.
A plan of the land is deposited in the post-office at Ponsonby and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

ENTERPRISE GOLD MINING COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of ENTERPRISE GOLD MINING COMPANY, LIMITED.
AT a meeting of members of the above-named company held on Friday, the 18th day of August, 1939, at 2.15 p.m., the following special resolution was passed:—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That HAROLD HUGH SYKES, of Dunedin, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of ENTERPRISE GOLD MINING COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 12th day of September, 1939, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to the undersigned, P.O. Box 214, Dunedin, and, if so required by notice in writing, are by their solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

THE MINING ACT, 1926, AND ITS AMENDMENTS.
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A WATER-RACE LICENSE.
I HEREBY give notice that I have filed an application for a water-race license to take two heads of water from the Awakino River with an intake approximately 42 chains above the intersection of the Awakino River with the Waitaki River. This application will be heard by the Warden at the Courthouse, Oamaru, on Wednesday, the 13th day of September, 1939, at 10 a.m., and all objections must be filed at the office of the Mining Registrar and notified to me, at least three days before that date.

RADIANT HALL, LIMITED.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of RADIANT HALL, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court dated the 18th day of August, 1939, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-mentioned company from £7,000 to £5,250, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Registrar of Companies at Christchurch, on the 23rd day of August, 1939. The said minute was in the words and figures following:—
“The capital of Radiant Hall, Limited, was, by virtue of a special resolution and with the approval of an Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 18th day of August, 1939, reduced from the former capital of £7,000 divided into 7,000 shares of one pound each to £5,250 divided into 7,000 shares of fifteen shillings each. At the date of registration of this minute 5,305 shares have been issued and were deemed to be fully paid up. By virtue of the said special resolution approved by the said Order the capital of the company, the said Radiant Hall, Limited, on the registration of this minute is £5,250 divided into 7,000 shares of fifteen shillings each, of which 5,305 shares are issued and are deemed to be fully paid up and the other remaining 1,695 shares are unissued.”

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.
NOTICE is hereby given that Wardrop’s Dunedin Fibrous Plaster Company, Limited, has changed its name to Wardrops Fibrous Plaster, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at Everybody’s Hall, Tay Street, Invercargill, on the 15th day of September, 1939, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidators.
