*Capital value includes the sum of £200 for improvements, comprising 600 acres burned and sown.

The soil is of poor quality on sandstone formation; watered by streams and springs. The sections comprise some hill country with small flats near the house and gorges in places but these would not seriously affect the grazing of cattle. Some 600 acres of the property, which is subdivided into four paddocks, have been sown in grass which is now in a deteriorated condition and the balance of the land is in its natural state. There is some ragwort and foxglove. The property is not recommended as a separate holding, but would be suitable to an owner of nearby land.
