Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses were made on the 21st August, 1939.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from T. J. Gardner for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol pumps to be installed outside his garage at Awanui.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 7th September, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Taking of Fish for Sale.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from Henry Kerby for a license to take fish for purposes of sale at Thames by means of the 40 ft. 30 h.p. vessel “H.K.,” using seine nets.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than 6th September, 1939.
