Proclaiming Land in the Wellington Land District to be subject to the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being land in the Hutt Valley heretofore acquired by the Crown under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Borough of Lower Hutt containing by admeasurement 15·4 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 1 on plan No. 985, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, being part of Section 77, Hutt Registration District: Bounded, towards the north by part of Lot 2 on plan No. 7217 deposited as aforesaid, 84·72 links; towards the east by Seaview Road, 109·58 links; towards the south by a street, 107·42 links; and towards the west by a closed street, being the land in Certificate of Title, Vol. 432, folio 16, Wellington Land Registry, 102·25 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. SECOND SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
FIRST, all that area in the Borough of Lower Hutt containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods and 21 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on plan No. 7068, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, being part of Section 14, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 283, folio 260, Wellington Land Registry.
Secondly, all that area in the Borough of Lower Hutt containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods and 37·8 perches, more or less, being part of a closed street, being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 432, folio 16, Wellington Land Registry, and adjoining accretion being Lot 2 on plan No. 134/94, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington: Bounded, towards the north-west by Waiwhetu Pa 1A, 77·95 links; towards the north-east by part of Lot 2 on plan No. 7217, and part of Lot 1 on plan No. 985, both plans being deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, 1013·25 and 212·22 links; towards the south-west by a street, 355·75 links; and again towards the south-west by the Hutt River; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. Cancelling the Reservation over Reserves in Waimea Survey District, Westland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for Government purposes over the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby cancel the reservation for a warden’s residence over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

RESERVE 45, Block X, Waimea Survey District: Area, 4 acres 3 roods 12 perches, more or less.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1939.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for a quarry reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in Waitemata County containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 48, Okura Parish, bounded, towards the west by a public road, 295·4 links; towards the north by another public road, 641·8 links and 278·1 links; and towards the east and south by Allotment 193 of Okura Parish, 280·6 links and 999·7 links: be all the aforesaid admeasurements a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/279A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Puniwhakau Village, Omona Survey District, Taranaki Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a public-hall and library site:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a public-hall and library site to a reserve for recreation purposes.
