Lands permanently reserved in the Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes of the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month, but not later than six months, after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrant dated the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the sixth day of that month, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes in the Schedule of the said Warrant specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be permanently reserved for which purposes the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 0 roods 7·67 perches, more or less, being Section 380, Township of Palmerston, bounded, commencing at the north-western corner of the said Section 380, on the north-west by Main Street East, 2004·4 links, on the north-east by part of Section 387, Township of Palmerston, 500·77 links, on the south-east by Lots 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 on D.P. 3114, and by Lot 1 on D.P. 2993, 2004·4 links, and on the south-west by Fitzroy Street, 501·82 links, to the point of commencement; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 7·88 perches, more or less, being part of Section 387, Township of Palmerston, bounded, commencing at the north-west corner of the said Section 387, on the north-west by Main Street East, 409·24 links, on the north-east by Lots 1, 4, and 5 on D.P. 7244, 500 links, on the south-east by other part of the said Section 387, distance 409·85 links bearing 239° 38′, and on the south-west by Section 380, Township of Palmerston, 500·77 links, to the point of commencement; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being parts of Lots 5, 6, and 7 of Reserve 631, situated in Block XI, Waitaki Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Reserve 2910, 152·9 links; towards the east by Rural Sections 28194, 29657, and 35317, 5452·8 links; towards the south by Reserve 2911, 248 links, and towards the west by the Main South Road, 5452·8 links, save and except a road one chain wide intersecting the above-described land, due allowance for which has been made in the area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/99/24A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Plantation.)
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing 3 acres 0 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Block VI, Town of Glenorchy, bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Islay Street, 811·5 links bearing 71° 24′; towards the north-east by Oban Street, 400 links bearing 161° 24′; towards the south-east by Cantire Street, 811·5 links bearing 251° 24′; and towards the south-west by Argyle Street, 400 links bearing 341° 24′. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/709A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (School-site (Glenorchy).)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 10, Block V, Opoe Survey District: Area, 25 acres.
