NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company by resolution dated 3rd day of August, 1939, went into voluntary liquidation and appointed the undersigned as liquidator.

Notice to Creditors to Prove.

The liquidator of the Dominion Confectionery Company, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 15th day of September, 1939, as the last day on or before which creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

WAIA PU COUNTY COUNCIL.

Notice of intention to take land for roads and for road purposes and for worker’s dwellings sites pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of the Counties Act, 1920.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute certain public works—namely, to take land for roads and for road purposes—and for the purpose of such work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken and to provide sites for worker’s dwellings for which purpose the lands described in the Second Schedule are required to be taken. Notice is further given that plans of the land so required for the said public works are deposited in the office of the Waiapu County Council, at Te Puia, and at the offices of Messrs. Nolan and Skeet, Solicitors, Gisborne, and are open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours; all persons affected by the execution of such public works or by the taking of the said lands for roads and road purposes or worker’s dwellings site purposes who have any well-founded objection to the execution of the said public works or any of them, must state their objections in writing and deliver same to the Clerk, Waiapu County Council Chambers, Te Puia, within forty days from the date of first publication of this notice.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

Approximate areas of lands required to be taken for roads :—

Firstly—All those pieces of land situated in Block VII, Mata Survey District, in the County of Waiapu, and more particularly shown on a plan deposited in the Survey Office at Gisborne, under No. 1593 (brown), and being 1 rood 23·3 perches, part Ahi-a-te-atua A 2c Block, coloured yellow on the said plan; 2 roods 8 perches, part road-line, coloured violet; 2 roods, part Section 4, coloured sepia; 2·62 perches, part Makarika Stream-bed, coloured yellow; 1 rood 17·4 perches, part Makarika A 1 Block, coloured blue; and 1·48 perches, being part Section 5, coloured red.

Secondly—All those pieces of land situated in Block 11, Waiapu Survey District, County of Waiapu, more particularly shown on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 1555 (brown), and containing 13 acres 3 roods 6·3 perches, being portion of the Maraeahara B Block, and thereon coloured blue.

Thirdly—Approximate area required to be taken for road purposes, being 15 acres 1 rood 31 perches, part of the Maraeahara B Block, more particularly shown on the said plan No. 1555 (brown), and thereon edged in pink.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

Approximate areas required to be taken for worker’s dwellings :—

Firstly—9 acres 1 rood 18 perches, situated in Block V, Waiapu Survey District, County of Waiapu, being part of the Wairoro No. 2 Block, more particularly shown on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 4053 (blue), and thereon edged in pink; and 4 acres 2 roods, part Wairoro No. 2 Block, shown on plan 4053 (blue), and thereon coloured yellow.

Secondly—12 acres, situated in Block IV, Mata Survey District, County of Waiapu, being part of the Waikohu No. 2 Block, and more particularly shown on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 1607 (brown), and thereon edged in pink.
