Trustees of Arrowtown Public Cemetery appointed.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section fifty-five of the Cemeteries
Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint

The Arrowtown Borough Council
to be trustees of the Arrowtown Public Cemetery as described
in the Schedule hereto and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

ARROWTOWN PUBLIC CEMETERY.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres o roods 10 perches, more or less,
being Sections 12 and 13, Block XIX, Town of Arrowtown;
Section 12 (area, 1 acre 2 roods) bounded, towards the north-
west by a public road, 300 links; towards the north-east by
Durham Street, 500 links; towards the south-east by a
public road, 300 links; and towards the south-west by
Section 11, 500 links. Section 13 (area, 2 roods 10 perches)
bounded, towards the north-west by a public road, 300 links;
towards the north-east by Durham Street, 187 links; towards
the south-east by Section 10, 300 links; and towards the
south-west by Section 11, 187 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly
shown on the plan marked 191/2/556, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Health, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 13th day of July, 1939.

Increasing Number of Days on which Charges may be made for
Admission to the Taihape Oval Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty-three of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George
Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby increase the number of
days which may be prescribed by the Taihape Oval Domain
Board as days upon which charges may be made, pursuant
to section twenty-one of the said Act, for admission to the
domain described in the Schedule hereto, or to any part
thereof set apart for a particular purpose, from twenty days
to thirty days during the year ending the thirty-first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.-TAIHape OVAL DOMAIN.

ALL that area containing 9 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or
less, being Block X, Township of Taihape, and formerly
comprising portion of Taihape Domain.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 13th day of July, 1939.

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Punakaiki Scenic
Board.

TN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery
Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control
of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being land
reserved under the said Act), in trust for the purposes of
scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the
tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-three (unless previously altered or revoked under the
said Act) in the Punakaiki Scenic Board, as constituted by
notification dated the eleventh day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in Gazette of
the seventeenth day of that month.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 1471, Block IX, Waiwhero Survey District : Area,
103 acres, more or less.

Reserve 1766 (formerly closed road), Block I, Punakaiki
Survey District: Area, 8 acres, more or less.

Reserve 1767 (formerly closed road), Block I, Punakaiki
Survey District: Area, 5 acres, more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 14th day of July, 1939.
