Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a
provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Kawhia County,
containing by admeasurement 599 acres l rood 28 perches,
more or less, and being Section 13, Block IV, Kawhia South
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan No. 35/5, deposited in the Head Office of the
State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of
June, 1939.

Authorizing the acquisition of Land notwithstanding the
Provisions as to Limitation of Area.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of
July, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the
Native Land Act, 1931, and all other powers him
enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
dothis hereby authorize the alienation by way of lease to, and
the acquisition by, The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile
Agency Company, Limited, of the land described in the
Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII
of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that the shop and store premises erected upon that part
of Lot 50B, Township of Te Awamutu, having a frontage to
Arawata Street of thirty feet and a depth of ninety feet,
being that part of the land contained in Certificate of Title,
Vol. 614, folio 291 (Auckland Land Registry), comprised in
a lease dated the llth day of August, 1938, from John George
Wilson and William Brendon Martyn to The New Zealand
Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £108,700 by the
Dunedin City Council and prescribing the Conditions
thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sth day of
July, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Dunedin City Council (hereinafter called
“the said local authority”) is desirous of raising the
sum of one hundred and eight thousand seven hundred
pounds (£108,700) by a loan to be known as “Waipori
Falls Electrical Loan, 1939” (hereinafter called “the said
loan”), for the purpose of developing the Waipori Power-
station for the purpose of augmenting the supply of electrical
energy from this source, including the construction of the new
supply-tunnel, adits, &c., and the installation of two genera-
ting units of 3,000 kilowatts each and has complied with the
provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
as required by the said Act should be given to the raising of
the said loan ;
