Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

All those areas in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing together 606 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, and described as follows:—

All that area containing by admeasurement 56 acres 1 rood 29 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 48, 49, and 50, District of Upper Motueka, Blocks I and V, Gordon Survey District, and being all the land on deposited plan 2690. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked 108/33, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 549 acres 3 roods 34 perches more or less, being Lot 1 (D.P. 2689) being part of Section 1, Lot 2 (D.P. 2689) being part of Section 1, Square 5, and Section 27, Block I, Gordon Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked 108/34, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of June, 1939.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1733, set apart by Proclamation dated the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted on the ninth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area of Provisional State Forest containing 80 acres, more or less, being Reserve 1733, being part of Subsection 1 of Section 2236, part Subsection 1 of Section 2810, part Section 2812, and part Section 3040, situated in Block XII, Mawheranui Survey District, and Block IX, Ahaura Survey District, bounded as described in New Zealand Gazette 1930 on page 3126. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/98/101A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 4th day of July, 1939.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Public Domain.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed street described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to or passing through the Eastbourne Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said Eastbourne Domain.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

Sections 102 and 103, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District (formerly closed road): Area, 3 roods 31.32 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 20016.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

EASTBOURNE DOMAIN.—WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Borough of Eastbourne, containing by admeasurement 792 acres 1 rood and 7-4 perches, more or less, being Sections 38, 40, 42, 43, and parts of Sections 44, 46, 47, and 48, Harbour Registration District, situated in Blocks I and IV, Pencarrow Survey District: Bounded, commencing at the northernmost corner of the said Section 38; on the north-east by Section 36 of the said Registration District, 4182-6 links; thence generally on the south-east by Sections 45, 46, 47, and 49, Wainui-o-Mata Registration District, 1836, 1329-7, 580-9, and 6371-1 links; thence generally on the south-east by parts of Sections 44, 46, and 47, and Section 49, Harbour Registration District, contained in C.T. 442/62, 370-4, 287-5, 424-1, 726-1, 540-9, 550-3, 438, 328-1, 1168-2, 2274-5, and 1381-8 links; thence on the south-west by Section 50, Harbour Registration District, and the crossing of a public road, 4478-8 links; thence on the west by high-water mark at the Wellington Harbour to its junction with the south-west boundary of Section 102, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District (formerly closed road); thence on the north-east by the said Section 102, 120 links; thence by a right line to the south-west corner of Lot 38 on D.P. 1229; thence on the north-east by the said Lot 38, 2977 links; thence on the north-west by Lots 38, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, and 37, D.P. 1229, by Lots 52, 51, 50, D.P. 981, by Lots 275, 259, 260, 261, 262, 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, and 268, D.P. 993, by Lot 4, D.P. 1012, and by Lot A plan A 1694, 345-7, 1562-1, 962, 1055, and 1742-1 links; thence on the north-east by Lot 3, D.P. 11503, 1976-4 links; thence on the north-west by the said Lot 3, D.P. 11503, and by D.P. 3124, 75-1 and 2513-4 links; again on the north-west by Section 35, Harbour Registration District, 2786-7 and 1440 links to the point of commencement, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, save and excepting a public road one chain wide intersecting Section 48, Harbour District, and also save and excepting Section 103, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District (formerly closed road).
