Police-station proclaimed a Police-gaol.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Prisons Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation, declare that such police-stations as he shall name therein shall be police-gaols: And whereas it is desirable to proclaim the police-station situated at Ruatoria in the Provincial District of Auckland, to be a police-gaol:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the gazetting of this Proclamation, the police-station situated at Ruatoria aforesaid, shall be a police-gaol.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of June, 1939.

Altering the Boundaries of the Taranaki Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anyway enabling me in that behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Taranaki Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, being portion of the County of Clifton, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Section 1, Block VII, Mimi Survey District, and proceeding thence easterly generally along the southern boundaries of Sections l and 12, Block VII, aforesaid, the south-western boundary of Section 12, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District, to Mount Messenger Road Reserve; thence southerly generally along the eastern, southern, and eastern boundaries of Section 20, Block VIII, aforesaid, to a point on the northern boundary of Section 3, Block XII, Mimi Survey District; thence easterly and southerly generally along the boundaries of Section 3, aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of Section 5 (State Forest Reserve), Block XII, Mimi Survey District; thence along the north-western, western, southern, and south-western boundaries of the said Section 5, Block XII, to the Mangahia Road; thence across that road and along the south-western boundary of Section 8 (State Forest Reserve), Block XII, Mimi Survey District, to Moki Trig. Station; thence along the north-western boundaries of Sections 5 and 8, Block III, Upper Waitara Survey District, to the southernmost corner of Section 1, Block XII. Mimi Survey District; thence along the north-eastern, northern, and western boundaries of part Section 2, Block III, Upper Waitara Survey District, to the junction of Moki Road with a public road near the northern boundary of Section 24, Block II, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence southerly across Moki Road to a point on the northern boundary of Section 24, aforesaid; thence easterly generally along the said northern boundary of the said Section 24 to its north-eastern corner; thence along the western and southern boundaries of Section 1, Block III, aforesaid, to Miro Trig. Station; thence along the south-western boundary of Subdivision 1 of 10, Block III, aforesaid, to the easternmost corner of Section 3 Block III, aforesaid; thence along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 3, Block III, aforesaid, to Uruti Road; thence across that road and along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Section 4, Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 4; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 11 and the western boundary of Section 3, Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District, to Mangamaeho Road; thence westerly generally along that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block V, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence across the Mangamaeho Road and along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 5, Block V, aforesaid, and the eastern boundary of Section 7, Block V, aforesaid, to Kaka Road; thence westerly along that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block V, aforesaid; thence across Kaka Road to the easternmost corner of Section 9, aforesaid; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of the Taranaki Electric-power District as at present constituted and the Waikaramarama Stream to the south-western corner of Section 1, Block VII, Mimi Survey District, the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 103099, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
