DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned PETER McLEOD and PERCY GEORGE BUDD in the business of land and estate agents carried on at Tauranga under the style of “McLeod and Budd,” was dissolved on the 21st day of January, 1939, by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by the undersigned Percy George Budd, by whom the business will in future be carried on at Tauranga.

RESOLUTION FOR VOLUNTARY WINDING UP.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE CLAYSON SHOE COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-book the above-named company on the 27th day of January, 1939, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held in Room 14, Dominion Farmers’ Institute Buildings, Featherston Street, Wellington, on Monday, the 6th day of February, 1939, at 2.15 o’clock in the afternoon.

  1. Consideration of the statement of the company’s position.
  2. Nomination of liquidator.
  3. Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE CLAYSON SHOE COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-book on the 27th day of January, 1939, the above-named company duly passed the following extraordinary resolution:—

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of sections 232 and 275 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company 99 Lower High Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 20th February, 1939, at 12 o’clock, noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.

Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes: For the first 8 pages, 6d.; over 8 pages and not exceeding 32 pages, 9d.; increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
