Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) J. R. Hooper, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one portable pump at his premises in Eureka.

(2) C. and K. Yeats, Ltd., for permission to move one petrol pump approximately one-quarter of a mile north of the company's existing premises, and to install one additional pump at a proposed service station on the main road at Whitford.

(3) G. G. Webb, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed service station at Mairangi Bay.

(4) Shannon Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., for permission to move two petrol pumps to form a drive-through service station facing the company's premises in Stafford Street, Shannon, and to install alongside these, one additional pump.

(5) Messrs. Pilcher and Chaytor, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one commercial petrol pump installed on their premises.

(6) K. King, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Te Whaiti.

(7) J. Milligan, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Surfdale, Waiheke Island.

(8) Parlane Bros., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one commercial pump at their premises in Waimamaku.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 14th February, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
