Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in
Waipu Survey District described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road:
1 rood 19·4 perches.
Being part Allotment 18, Wairau Parish; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood
26·1 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 18, Wairau
Parish; coloured green.

All situated in Block VIII, Waipu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29547.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same
are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
100232, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
January, 1939.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block VII, Belmont
Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described
in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the
Wellington–New Plymouth Railway, Wellington–Tawa Flat
Deviation, and is not now required for such purpose), shall
upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette
become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by
the Makara County Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said council.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of
January, 1939.

Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the
land in the Borough of New Plymouth described in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Fitzroy District.

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100944,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
January, 1939.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Fire-brigade
Station in the City of Palmerston North.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a fire-brigade station, and shall vest in the Palmerston North Fire
Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-nine.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 23·6
perches.
Being portion of Section 335, Township of Palmerston.

Situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District (City of
Palmerston North). (S.O. 3322.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100643,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
January, 1939.
