A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road in Turanganui Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Situated in Block IX, Turanganui Survey District, (Te Arai Settlement) (Gisborne R.D.) (S.O. 1573, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 101145, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of June, 1939.

Portions of Road closed for Defence Purposes in Block XI Waitemata Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto are hereby closed for defence purposes; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the pieces of road hereby closed :
9 acres 0 roods 24·6 perches.
Being portion of Hobsonville Road, and Rodney, Beatty, and Hood Avenues, adjoining part Allotment 12, Waipareira Parish and Lots 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 961; Lots 46 to 51, 60 and 61, and part Lot 62, D.P. 8956; Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 22890; Lots 5 to 9, 12 to 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 to 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 53, 55, 58, 61, 63, 64, and 69 to 121, and Plantation Reserves, D.P. 19725; being parts Allotment 12, Waipareira Parish.
All situated in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30043.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102200, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Takapuna Substation); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 39·9 perches. Being portion of part Allotment 93, Takapuna Parish.
Situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30163.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102868, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of June, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Winton Substation-site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods. Being portion of Section 25.
Situated in Block VI, Winton Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 108/43.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102551, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of June, 1939.
