Additional Land near Wayby taken for the Purposes of the North Auckland Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Auckland Railway to take further land near Wayby in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 roods 34Β·3 perches. Part Lot 2, D.P. 20679, of Allotment 91, Hoteo Parish, Block IV, Tauhoa Survey District, Rodney County. (S.O. 30157.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5649, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of June, 1939.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Additional Land at Tirau for the Purposes of the Thames Valley-Rotorua Railway, and for Road-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under this Act, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect to the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:
And whereas it is found that part of the additional land at Tirau taken for the purposes of the Thames Valley-Rotorua Railway, and for road-diversion in connection therewith, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1928, dated the eleventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight (hereinafter termed "the said Proclamation"), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64 of the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, page 1929, is not required for the purposes for which it was taken:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as is described in the Schedule hereto.
