THE NEW ZEALAND SCOTTISH REGIMENT.
Captain C. F. McAllum, from the Reserve of Officers, The
Wellington West Coast Regiment, to be Captain, with
seniority from 4th October, 1937, and is posted to the
Wellington Company. Dated 12th May, 1939.

NEW ZEALAND MEDICAL CORPS.
Captain L. S. Davis, M.B., Ch.B., ceases to be attached to the
Hauraki Regiment and is transferred to Central Military
District (unattached). Dated 16th May, 1939.

NEW ZEALAND CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.
The Reverend J. Chisholm, V.D., Chaplain, 2nd Class
(Presbyterian), is posted to the Retired List with permission
to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated
9th May, 1939.
The Reverend H. R. Turner, Chaplain, 4th Class (Baptist),
to be Chaplain, 3rd Class. Dated 17th December, 1938.
H. J. Parkinson, Chaplain, 4th Class (Salvation Army), to be
Chaplain, 3rd Class. Dated 13th March, 1939.
The Reverend F. G. Brown, Chaplain, 4th Class (Methodist),
to be Chaplain, 3rd Class. Dated 1st May, 1939.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 93,
of the 21st December, 1938, relative to the resignation of the
Reverend D. H. Stewart, Chaplain, 4th Class (Baptist), is
hereby cancelled. Dated 10th May, 1939.
The Reverend Joseph Daniel Jensen to be Chaplain, 4th
Class (Baptist), Area 1. Dated 8th May, 1939.

Albert John Bennetts,
to be Registrar of Electors and Returning Officer for the
Electoral District of Marlborough for the purposes of the
Electoral Act, 1927, and its amendments, and Returning
Officer for the Marlborough Licensing District for the purposes
of the Licensing Act, 1908, and its amendments, as from the
1st day of June, 1939.

Harold Levett Walden,
to be Registrar of Electors for the Electoral District of
Otahuhu for the purposes of the Electoral Act, 1927, and its
amendments, as from the 17th day of May, 1939.

Constable John Forsyth,
to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates' Court at Foxton
for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, and
Maintenance Officer at the Magistrates’ Court, Foxton, for
the purposes of the Destitute Persons Amendment Act, 1926,
as from the 17th day of May, 1939.

Constable Robert Smith,
to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Motueka
for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, and
Maintenance Officer at the Magistrates’ Court, Motueka, for
the purposes of the Destitute Persons Amendment Act, 1926,
as from the 25th day of May, 1939.

Constable Percy Clemence,
to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Ngaruawhia for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928,
and Maintenance Officer at the Magistrates’ Court, Ngaruawhia, for the purposes of the Destitute Persons Amendment
Act, 1926, as from the 26th day of May, 1939.

Constable Spencer Roland Rupert Gawler,
to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Houhora
for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, and
Maintenance Officer at the Magistrates’ Court, Houhora, for
the purposes of the Destitute Persons Amendment Act, 1926,
