NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL.


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.


Waterworks Loan 1938, £4,500.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand five hundred pounds (£4,500), authorized to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the constructing of a 250,000-gallon reservoir, laying a 6 in. watermain in Onewa Road, purchasing of a gas chlorinator, and cement-lining watermains from the junction of Ocean View Road and Raleigh Road to Lake Road, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one third of a penny (⅓d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
