Lowry Bay Water and Sewerage Loan, £5,000.

I HEREBY give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the
Lowry Bay No. 42 Special Rating District in the Wainui-
o-mata Riding of the County of Hutt taken on the 9th day
of May, 1939, on the proposal of the Hutt County Council
to borrow the sum of £5,000 by way of a special loan to
be known as the “Lowry Bay Water and Sewerage Loan,
1939 ”:—

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 29
No votes were recorded against the proposal . . Nil

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1926, notice is hereby given that at a poll of ratepayers
of the Ashburton County taken on the 11th day of May,
1939, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £25,000 for
the purpose of providing portion of the cost of paving
127 miles of main and secondary highways in Ashburton
County, the number of votes recorded was:—

The number of votes for the proposal was . . 934
The number of votes against the proposal was. . 287

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Classification of Road in Waimea County and Tahunanui
Town District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the
Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of
Transport does hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s
proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule
hereto and situated in the Waimea County and the
Tahunanui Town District.

SCHEDULE.

WAIMEA COUNTY AND TAHUNANUI TOWN DISTRICT.

Road classified in Class Three: Available for the use
thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-
axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carry-
ing weighs not more than 7 tons, or any multi-axled heavy
motor-vehicle which when carrying a load has an axle
weight of not more than 4½ tons on any one axle.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on
him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the
Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of
Transport does hereby approve of the Mount Roskill Road
Board’s proposed classification of the roads described in
the Schedule hereto and situated in the Mount Roskill Road
District.

MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD DISTRICT.

Roads classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereof
of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled
heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying
weighs not more than 5 tons, or any multi-axled heavy
motor-vehicle which when carrying a load has an axle weight
of not more than 3 tons on any one axle.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy
Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of Transport
does hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the classification
of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated
in the Murchison County, that Warrant dated the 13th
day of October, 1932, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 66 of the 20th day of October, 1932, at page
2146, and does hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s
proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule
hereto and situated in the Murchison County.

of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled
