(iv) Officers serving on the above date and promoted after ten years
from entry, and officers entered into the Naval Service on or after 21st
February, 1935, are to be paid under the new scheme, the rates for which
are those shown above.
NOTE.—The “old scheme” referred to in paragraphs (i) to (iv) above is
that described in King’s Regulations and Admiralty Instructions, Appendix I,
Part I, Nos. 62 and 63. If any officers loaned to the New Zealand Division
are affected thereby, special application should be made to Navy Office for
the rate of pay to be applied.
