Land taken at Paeroa (Waikato-Thames Railway) for Sites for Dwellings for Employees of Government Railways Department.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Government Railways Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of dwelling-sites for employees of the Government Railways Department.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5620, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of May, 1939.

Additional Land between Swanson and Waitakere taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land between Swanson and Waitakere in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
