Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses were made on 21st April, 1939.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) Car Services, Limited, for permission to transfer six pumps to a site immediately opposite the present premises in Queen Street, Waimate.
(2) Carter Sly Motors, Limited, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from four petrol pumps proposed to be installed on a new service station at 162 Aro Street, Wellington.
(3) Cowling Bros., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol pumps to be installed outside a new garage and service station in Matamata.
(4) E. Barling, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one additional petrol pump to be installed at his store at Himatangi, and to make certain alterations to provide a drive-through service station,
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in regard to these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing, so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 9th May, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
