THE AUCKLAND AND SUBURBAN DRAINAGE BOARD.
LOAN No. 17.--SPECIAL ORDER.
THE Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and section 40 of the Local Legislation Act, 1938, and their respective amendments, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf doth hereby resolve by special order:-
(1) To raise a special loan of and to borrow the sum of £5,000 for the purpose of meeting the expenditure incurred over and above the respective sums included in Loan No. 12 of £30,000; raised by the Board for the purpose of constructing certain lengths of branch sewer No. 9 and the stormwater culvert in Arch Hill Gully, and refunding to No. 2 account general fund of the Board all moneys now or hereafter advanced thereout on account of the cost of such works.
(2) That the said special loan of £5,000 be known as Loan No. 17, 1939.
(3) That the said special loan shall be repaid by ten annual instalments of £500 each, the first instalment to be paid at the expiration of one year from the date it is raised.
(4) That the rate of interest payable in respect of the said special loan shall be £3 10s. per centum per annum.
(5) That the said special loan and the interest thereon shall be secured upon the Board's general fund and upon all contributions payable to it by and all rates leviable by the local authorities thereof to secure the payment of such contributions upon the City of Auckland (portion) and the Suburban Boroughs of Mount Eden, Mount Albert, Newmarket, and One Tree Hill (portion), and the Road District of Mount Roskill (portion).
The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board convened by requisition of the Chairman, dated the 24th day of February, 1939, and held on the 2nd day of March, 1939. It was publicly notified in the New Zealand Herald on the 7th and 21st days of March, 1939, and the Auckland Star on the 14th and 28th days of March, 1939. It was confirmed at a special meeting of the Board convened by resolution of the Board on the 2nd day of March, 1939, and held on the 30th day of March, 1939.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.
NOTICE is hereby given that Jackson and Fuge, Limited, has changed its name to Jackson's Joinery Works, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of sections 232 and 275 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street, Auckland, on Monday, 1st May, 1939, at 2.15 p.m., for the purpose of having laid before them an account showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted, and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanations that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

TAKE notice that the final general meeting of the abovementioned company will be held at my office, Tennyson Chambers, Tennyson Street, Napier, on the 17th day of April, 1939, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having laid before it an account of the winding up showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of.
