Appointment of Issuing Officer for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to fish for Trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 2 (2) of the
Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, the Minister
of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand doth
hereby authorize—

James Montgomery Thomson

to be an issuing officer for the purpose of issuing licenses
to fish for trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations,
1929, vice F. J. O. Powell, Fishing Lodge, Tauranga–Taupo,
as from 1st April, 1939.

Royal Navy, lent New Zealand Naval Forces, additional,

Member of Naval Board, with the rank of Temporary
Captain, vice Tottenham, from date of assuming office.
Lieutenant-Commander Erskine Knollys Heveningham
St. Aubyn, D.S.C., Royal Navy, to H.M.S. “Philomel”
(for Navy Office, Wellington), additional, to date 16th

Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) O. H. Mead, D.S.O., to be
Colonel. Dated 1st April, 1939.
Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) L. Potter to be Lieutenant-
Colonel. Dated 1st April, 1939.
Major A. E. Conway relinquishes the appointment of
Commandant, Central Military District School of Instruction,
Trentham, and is attached to Army Headquarters, Welling-
ton, for mobilization duties. Dated 16th January, 1938.
Major A. E. Conway is granted the temporary rank of
Lieutenant-Colonel while attached to Army Headquarters
for mobilization duties. Dated 1st April, 1939.
Major L. G. Goss relinquishes the appointment of Commandant,
Army School of Instruction, Trentham, and is appointed
General Staff Officer, 1st Grade, at Army Headquarters,
Wellington. Dated 13th February, 1939.
Major L. G. Goss is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-
Colonel while holding the appointment of General Staff
Officer, 1st Grade, at Army Headquarters. Dated 1st
April, 1939.
Major S. H. Crump, O.B.E., is granted the temporary rank of
Lieutenant - Colonel while holding the appointment of
Deputy Quartermaster - General, Army Headquarters.
