IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waitotara County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 1 rood 32·1 perches.

Adjoining or passing through parts Section 4s, Matamua Settlement.

Cancelling the Reservation over Parts of Reserves in Town of Cambridge West, Auckland Land District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a municipal endowment over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL those areas in the Leamington Town District containing by admeasurement a total of 1 rood 23·6 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2 on the plan numbered 28172, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being parts of Allotments 74 and 75, Town of Cambridge West. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5216A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John Nisbett

to be the Wai-iti Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. Eves as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—WAI-ITI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Block XV, Wai-iti Survey District, being part of Section X (also called Section 156), Waimea South Original District, containing 5 acres 0 roods 4 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by Railway land; towards the north-east by Section 155, Waimea South Original District; and towards the south-east and south-west by an unformed road. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L 1363, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in Block XV, Wai-iti Survey District, being part of Section X (also called Section 156), Waimea South Original District, containing 2 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north and east by public roads; towards the south-west by an old course of the Wai-iti River; and towards the west by the Wai-iti River, excepting therefrom, the intersecting railway land. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/184, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
