Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) Waikaiа Motors for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed garage opposite the Empire Hotel, Waikaiа.

(2) A. O. T. Chamberlin for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed petrol station on the Weiti Wharf, Wade Heads, Whangaparaoa.

(3) Spiers Motor Service, Ltd. (in liquidation), for a license to transfer two petrol pumps from the present position at 225 Cumberland Street, Dunedin, to new premises on the corner of St. Andrews Street and Filleul Street, Dunedin.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 31st January, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
