RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Waterworks Loan, 1938, £2,000.

THAT, for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund and other charges on the said loan the Port Chalmers Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence (3d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Port Chalmers save and except all rateable property situated in the non-reticulated area of the Townships of Mansford and Reynolds, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the oan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Queenstown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan £10,500 authorized to be raised by the Queenstown Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for drainage and sewerage purposes, the said Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one shilling and twopence farthing (1s. 2½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the borough; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

BOROUGH OF MATAURA.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Mataura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand five hundred pounds (£4,500) authorized to be raised by the Mataura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of augmenting the supply of water for the borough by carrying out improvement works from the intake to the reservoir, the said Mataura Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence halfpenny (3½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the annual value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Mataura, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I certify that the above is a true copy of the resolution passed by the Mataura Borough Council at its meeting held on the 27th day of February, 1939.
