A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1939.

Leasehold Interest in Land taken for the Purposes of a Roadman’s Cottage, a Quarry, and a Road in Block III, Lewis Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the First Schedule hereto (held from His Majesty the King by Lily F. M. A. Blackadder under and by virtue of a reserve lease for twenty-one years from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen), is hereby taken for the purposes of a roadman’s cottage and that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Second and Third Schedules hereto (held from His Majesty the King by Walter James Patrick Williams under and by virtue of a renewable lease for sixty-six years from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen), is hereby taken for the purposes of a quarry and road respectively; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the estate of leasehold is taken: 1 acre.
Being part Section 15 (Accommodation House Reserve); coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the estate of leasehold is taken: 3 acres 2 perches.
Being part Section 9; coloured red.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the estate of leasehold is taken: 1 rood 5 perches.
Being part Section 9; coloured yellow.
All situated in Block III, Lewis Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9078.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102819, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1939.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of a Police-station in Block V, Te Kaha Survey District.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 79 of the third day of the following month, at page 2299, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Gisborne as No. 785, taking land for the purposes of a police-station in Block V, Te Kaha Survey District, in so far as it affects the area of 13 perches mentioned in the Schedule thereto.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1939.
