THE PATENTS, DESIGNS, AND TRADE-MARKS ACT, 1921–22.
In the matter of Letters Patent No. 52376 granted to STEPHEN JOHN AVERY, of Sanson, Manawatu, New Zealand, Dairy-farmer, and bearing date the 17th day of June, 1924, in respect of “Improvements in or relating to Milking Machine Systems.”
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the above-named Stephen John Avery to present a petition to the Supreme Court of New Zealand praying that the term of the said Letters Patent may be extended. And notice is hereby further given that at 10 a.m. on the 15th day of March, 1940, or on such subsequent day as the Court shall appoint for that purpose, application will be made to the Court at Wellington that a day may be fixed before which the petition will not be heard, and any person desirous of being heard in opposition to the said petition must lodge notice of his objection at the Registry of the said Court at Wellington on or before the said 15th day of March, 1940.
The petitioner’s address for service is at the offices of Messieurs Bell, Gully, Mackenzie, and Evans, 104 Featherston Street, in the City of Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act, 1925, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Mackenzie taken on the 15th day of September, 1936, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said county be on the capital value:—

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
