Land taken for the Purposes of River-protection Works and for the Purposes of a Road, in Block I, Oroua Survey District, and Block IV, Rangitoto Survey District, Oroua County.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of river-protection works, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

All situated in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103551, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 51,600 acres. Being Subdivisions 2, 3, and 4 of Run No. 1, and Subdivisions 1, 2, and 3 of Run No. 3. (S.O. RP629.)
Situated in Blocks X, XIV, and XV, Kaimanawa Survey District, Blocks I to VII and IX to XVI, Moawhango Survey District, and Blocks IX and XIII, Motupuha Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105630, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of November, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 25·85 perches. Being Lot 1 and part Lot 2, D.P. 18685, being part Allotment 67, Parish of Mahurangi.
Situated in Block VII, Mahurangi Survey District (Warkworth Town District) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30371.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104489, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.
