Land taken for the Purposes of a Recreation-ground in Block III, Whitianga Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a recreation-ground; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a surfaceman’s cottage; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods.

Being part Allotment 60, Maramarua Parish.

Situated in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30272.)

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes, that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street-widening, and that the said pieces of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for street purposes: 4·6 perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 8926, and being part Section 4, Evans Bay District; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken in connection with street-widening: 7·45 perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 8926, and being part Section 4, Evans Bay District; coloured red.

All situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20260.)

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104153, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.
