Additional Land between Tawa Flat and Porirua taken for the
Purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS is has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Foxton Railway to take further land between Tawa Flat and Porirua in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5910, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1939.

Altering the Boundaries of the Wairarapa Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anyway enabling me in that behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Wairarapa Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

(a) Part of the County of Masterton, and (b) part of the County of Castlepoint, and containing all that area of land situated in the Wellington Land District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District, being the south-east corner of Section 823, Block XV, Puketoi Survey District, and bounded generally on the north-west by the Eketahuna County to the south-east corner of Section 22, Block XII, Puketoi Survey District; thence on the north, south-west, and north-east generally by the Akitio County to the south-west boundary of Section 477, Block XIII, Aohanga Survey District; thence generally on the north-east and south-east by the North Riding of the Castlepoint
