Resolutions of both Houses of Parliament reserving Land as an Endowment for Primary Education.

THE following resolutions, passed by the Legislative Council and by the House of Representatives are published in accordance with section 362 (3) of the Land Act, 1924.

EXTRACT FROM THE JOURNALS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL,
THURSDAY, THE 28TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1939.

Ordered: “That the Report of the Lands Committee on Paper 153, containing a proposal that land in the North Auckland Land District be reserved as an endowment for primary education, be agreed to.” On motion of the Hon. Mr. Duncan.

Resolved: “That this House approves of the proposal contained in Paper No. 159 for the reservation of certain land in the North Auckland Land District as an endowment for primary education.” On motion of Hon. Mr. Langstone.

Approval of Safety Glass in terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936, Amendment No. 1.

IN terms of regulation 10 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, as amended by regulation 6 of the Traffic Regulations 1933, Amendment No. 1, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve as being of safety type the glass of the kind or make described in the Schedule hereto.
