Appointing Members of Bledisloe Park Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon me by section eight of the Native
Purposes Act, 1934, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint
Hemana Pokiha,
Heemi te Uara, and
Thomas Jackson,
duly nominated by the Arawa District Trust Board, and
Archibald Spratt,
Archibald Hamilton Snodgrass,
Horace Albon Ringer,
William Edward Singleton, and
Kathleen Cruickshank,
duly nominated by the Tauranga County Council,
to be members of the Bledisloe Park Board for a term expiring
on the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-one.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 13th day
of October, 1939.

Notifying the proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the
Wellington Land District for other Land.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty of the Land
Act, 1924, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the
Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the
public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land
which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, in
exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any
such exchange to pay or receive any sum by way of equality
of exchange :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it
is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First
Schedule hereto for the land of equal value described in the
Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described
in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers
and authorities, doth hereby declare it is his intention to
grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the
First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the
land described in the Second Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
Wellington Land District.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 36 acres 3 roods,
more or less, being part of Section 17, Block IX, Ruahine
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated
on plan No. 244/30, deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE
THEREFOR.
Wellington Land District.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 35 acres 0 roods
20 perches, more or less, being part of Section 10, Block IX,
Ruahine Survey District. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan No. 20291, deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 20th day of October, 1939.
