IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road in Mahinapua Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of October, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Weber Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103737, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Borough of Pukekohe, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 2·6 perches, more or less, situated in Block XV, Drury Survey District, being Lots 20 to 27 (inclusive), on plan number 16013, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Allotment 12, Pukekohe Parish, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 707, folio 207, Auckland Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/686A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
