THE KIWI BACON COMPANY, LIMITED.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the Kiwi Bacon Company, Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Hamilton.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in its Hamilton District, dated the 6th day of October, 1939, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £40,000 to £20,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above Act, were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington, on the 13th day of October, 1939. And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
"The capital of the company is £20,000 divided into 20,000 shares of £1 each instead of £40,000 divided into 40,000 shares of £1 each. At the date of the registration of this minute each share has been and is to be deemed fully paid up."

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute certain public works—to wit, the construction of public roads—for which purpose the lands in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the said Waipa County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928.
A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waipa County Council, Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works, or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of Service Motors (Dunedin), Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the members of the above-named company has been summoned for the purpose of passing a resolution for the voluntary winding up of the company, and appointing James Fairbairn Lang, Public Accountant, liquidator of the company; and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held at the office of J. F. Lang, Security Buildings, Dunedin, on the 20th day of October, 1939, at 2.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, at which the creditors may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, or may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that a resolution for voluntary winding up of the company having been duly passed at a meeting of shareholders held on 25th September, 1939, a meeting of the said company will be held pursuant to section 300, subsection 7, of the Companies Act, 1933, at the registered office of the company at Fenton Street, Rotorua, on Friday, 20th October, 1939, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the amount of their claim, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act may name a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.
