Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

N OTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from C. C. and N. C. Capell for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol pumps proposed to be installed at a new service station at Lower Hawea.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 2nd November, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Manufacture of Electric Ranges.

N OTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from Radio (1936) Ltd., Auckland, for a license to carry on the industry of “the manufacture of electric ranges, including the assembly of parts thereof” to the extent of manufacturing that type of electric range commonly known as a “rangette.”
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 2nd November, 1939.

N OTICE is hereby given that on the 22nd day of September, 1939, there was filed in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington an order made by the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society on the 21st day of September, 1939, ordering that the name of Herbert George Rose, of Auckland, be struck off the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

Air Firing Danger Area established.
Position : Lake Ellesmere Outlet. Lat., 43° 51½' S.; long., 172° 21½' E. (approx.)
Details : The area enclosed by lines extending 180° 2 miles, from positions 2 miles and 12½ miles eastward of Lake Ellesmere outlet and a line joining their extremities has been established as an air firing danger area.
Mariners are warned not to enter the area as firing may take place at any time without warning.

Excluding Land from the Te Kaha Development Scheme.

P URSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby varies the notice dated the 2nd day of December, 1931, and published in the Gazette No. 94 of the 17th day of the same month at page 3507, declaring the Omaio 2 and other blocks to be subject to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), by excluding therefrom the Native land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of Native land in the Waiariki Native Land Court District situate in Block V, Haparapara Survey District, and known as the Omaio 20 Block, containing 2 acres, more or less.
