TEMUKA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Temuka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and the other charges on a loan of nine hundred pounds (£900) authorized to be raised by the Temuka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out improvements to 7,986 ft. of the waterworks concrete pipe-line, the said Temuka Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Temuka Borough, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of ten years or until such time as the loan is fully paid off.”
Proposed by W. H. McMillan. Seconded by C. D. Hayhurst.

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Lyndhurst Reserve Loan, 1937, £1,200.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on the Lyndhurst Reserve Loan, 1937, of one thousand two hundred pounds (£1,200) authorized to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of building a house on the Council’s reserve at Lyndhurst, the said Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves that the special rate of one-sixth of a penny in the pound made and levied on all rateable property in the Borough of Rangiora, comprising the whole of the Borough, on the 26th day of January, 1938, be increased to one-third of a penny in the pound and that such special rate of one-third of a penny in the pound is hereby made and levied on the aforesaid rateable property and shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan of £1,200 and be payable half-yearly on the first day of October and first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten years on until the loan is fully paid off.”
We certify that the above resolution was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on Wednesday, the 22nd day of February, 1939.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company by resolution passed on the 20th day of February, 1939, went into a creditors’ voluntary liquidation and appointed the undersigned as liquidators.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waipawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600 authorized to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for kerbing and channelling in concrete 170 chains of footway, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixty-three two hundred and fifty-sevenths of a penny (63²/₅₇d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waipawa Borough Council, comprising the whole of the Borough of Waipawa, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a special meeting of the Waipawa Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 21st day of February, 1939.
