Boyne Stanley Lawrence,
to be a trustee of the Sandon Public Park in place of John Henry Shore Perrett, deceased; to act in conjunction with Henry John Fagan, Wilfred Henry Henson, Willoughby Ernest Pearce, and Jack Cameron Fagan, previously appointed.

Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3.
IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, the Minister of Transport does hereby declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road, street, or other place to which the public have access therein shall be subject to the maximum speed-limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
SCHEDULE.
SITUATED within Hutt County—
All that area consisting of that portion of the Western Hutt Main Highway No. 569, commencing at the northern boundary of Lower Hutt Borough, as now constituted, proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction and terminating at a point 3 chains measured along the said main highway in a north-easterly direction from a point opposite the Belmont Railway-station, a distance of approximately 1 mile 10 chains.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks V, VI, VII, IX, X, and XI, Mount Robinson Survey District, for the Flaxmilling Industry (Rehabilitation Plan), Research and Developmental Work, &c.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the Flaxmilling Industry (Rehabilitation Plan), research and developmental work, &c. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Foxton and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
