Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Springdale Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of September, 1939.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Harold Andrew Wagstaff,
John Henry Wells,
Flinders Ole Johansen,
Herbert Old,
William John Nicholson,
Joseph Werder, and
Alfred Dalton Fielder
to be the Springdale Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at eight o’clock p.m. as the time when, and the Springdale Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Archibald Finlaison Sutherland,
Walter McLaren,
Stanley Charlton Knowles,
William Stafford Northcoat, and
William George McPherson
to be the Glenorchy Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at four o’clock p.m. as the time when, and Knowles’ Garage, Glenorchy, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in City of Auckland, North Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of September, 1939.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart as an endowment for the improvement and benefit of the City of Auckland :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public school-site :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve as an endowment for the improvement and benefit of the City of Auckland to a reserve for a public school-site.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 36 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, being part of Section 52, City of Auckland : Bounded, towards the north generally by Beresford Street, 241-88 links; to the east generally by Howe Street, 714-67 links; to the south generally by a stopped street for a distance of 603-71 links; and towards the west generally by other part of Section 52 aforesaid, following right lines bearing 28° 48′, 87-54 links; 26° 50′, 205-44 links; 82° 13′, 87-12 links; 352° 12′, 23-45 links; 262° 12′, 70-90 links; 15° 55′, 255-06 links; 12° 26′ 30″, 130-15 links; 273° 39′, 3-30 links; 11° 36′ 40″, 258-60 links; be all the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.6/686A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of September, 1939.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Kaihere Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Kaihere Domain Board.

SECTION 15, Block XII, Piako Survey District : Area, 5 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less.
