Additional Land at Wyndham taken for the Purposes of the Wai-taki-Bluff Railway (Edendale-Wyndham Branch), and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Edendale-Wyndham Branch of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land at Wyndham in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5816, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of September, 1939.

Land taken for the Development of Water-power (Cottage-sites, Tapanui) in Block IV, Glenkenich Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (cottage-sites, Tapanui); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre.
Being portion of Lot 7, D.P. 2034, being part Section 1.
Situated in Block IV, Glenkenich Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9122.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103701, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of September, 1939.
