The Wool Emergency Regulations 1939, Amendment No. 1.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of
September, 1939.
Present:
THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Emergency Regulations Act, 1939, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations.

REGULATIONS.

  1. These regulations may be cited as the Wool Emergency Regulations 1939, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and
    deemed part of the Wool Emergency Regulations 1939* (hereinafter
    referred to as the principal regulations).
  2. Nothing in the principal regulations shall be construed to render
    unlawful—
    (a) Any sale of sheep-skins by any farmer, butcher, freezing
    company, or proprietor of a slaughterhouse or abattoir to
    any tanner, fellmonger, merchant, or dealer in sheep-skins
    at prices not exceeding the prices at which similar sales
    were made or could have been made in the same locality
    on 1st September, 1939:
    (b) Any sale of sheep-skins by any tanner, fellmonger, merchant,
    or dealer in sheep-skins to any tanner or fellmonger in New
    Zealand at prices not exceeding the prices at which similar
    sales were made or could have been made in the same
    locality on 1st September, 1939.
  3. (1) The Minister of Marketing may from time to time, in his
    discretion, and either unconditionally or upon or subject to such
    conditions as he thinks fit, grant complete or partial exemptions from
    any of the provisions of the principal regulations (including these
    regulations).
    (2) Any such exemption may be at any time revoked by the
    Minister, and any such conditions may from time to time be varied,
    revoked, or added to by the Minister as he thinks fit.
