Weighted with £305 for improvements, comprising six-roomed dwelling with concrete paths, washhouse, 44 chains fencing, 8 chains hedging, 3¼ acres worn-out pasture, garden, and orchard. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £55, the balance may be paid over a term of twenty years by half-yearly instalments of principal and interest amounting to £10 0s. 8d.

This section is situated on Domain Road, half a mile from Henderson Railway-station by metalled road and three-quarters of a mile from Henderson Post-office and one mile from Henderson School, and comprises flat land in grass. Soil is clay resting on sandstone formation. Town water-supply laid on. Property is suitable for a suburban home for a man with outside employment, and would run two cows and poultry.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 27th March, 1939.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 29th March, 1939, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-books, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

An unimproved section, situated on Murray’s Road, approximately ten miles from Tuakau Post-office, Railway-station, Dairy Factory, and Salcyards, and approximately four miles from Pukekawa School. Undulating to hilly and broken country with approximately 100 acres low-lying flax and raupo swamp, balance high land in fern and tea-tree, portions with a growth of pinus insignis and scattered hakea. Watered by swamps, springs, and Waikato River. A little blackberry and gorse in evidence. The section will be suitable for grazing when improved.

  • Capital value includes the sum of £40 for improvements, which remain the property of the Crown, comprising 4 acres felled and grassed, and half-share 4 chains of boundary-fencing.

This small grazing property, situated on the main Kati-kati–Waihi Highway, is approximately one mile and a half from Katikati Post-office, Railway-station, and School; access is by good metalled road. It comprises easy sloping land all in grass with the exception of approximately ¼ acre swamp. Soil is medium pumice loam on rhyolite formation; not watered at present but water could be easily obtained by well. This section would be suitable for use in conjunction with adjoining land.
