Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from-

(1) Hare Bros., Ltd., for permission to move one petrol pump to a position on new premises at the corner of Belmont Road and Williams Street, Paeroa.

(2) J. T. Graham for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one portable petrol pump at his store in Pongakawa Valley.

(3) W. Chamberlain for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Orawia.

(4) E. J. Lavery for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his premises in the Main North Road, Saltwater Creek, Canterbury.

(5) W. Hayes for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit in drum lots at his premises in Beach Road, Kumara.

(6) V. F. Green for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed tea-rooms and confectionery store, near-by the junction of the Auckland-Hamilton and Auckland-Thames Highways, Pokeno.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 7th March, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture of Rennet.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from the Bettol Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Christchurch, for permission to take over the license to manufacture rennet from the estate of the late T. J. Betle, Palmerston North.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 8th March, 1939.
